The Policy research theme addresses the challenges of designing, implementing and evaluating policy and strategy for digital education in education providers, and in governments and their agencies.
We use our research to inform our own practice in leading university-wide digital education, and use our own experiences to help us design our research.
Current areas of interest for us are:
- design of large-scale learning analytics implementations
- the relationship between university strategy and high level policy ‘signals’ such as the EU’s Yerevan Communique
- strategic planning for MOOCs in a post-hype phase
- strategic responses to disruptive forces and developments in higher education.
