Margaret Laurie

Research Assistant

Maggi is a Research Assistant at Moray House School of Education at the University of Edinburgh. She has a background in Psychology and Research Methods of Psychological Science, and recently finished a PhD at Edinburgh looking at the influence of technology on social play in children on the autism spectrum.

On the Move2Learn project, Maggi is analysing the videos collected at the Glasgow Science Centre, looking at how children engage with interactive exhibits and show their science understanding through gesture. Maggi is also working on the development and testing of the Embodied Interaction Scaffolding Tool (EIST).
