My research studies at Masters and PhD level at the University of Edinburgh reflects my interest on the role of technology as a way of improving the communicative skills of SL students. With the title "Engaging Second Language Teachers in Videoconference-integrated Exchanges: Towards a Social Constructivist Perspective", I have done an in-depth investigation on the critical incidents that SL teachers might encounter when integrating videoconference technology in their classrooms.

Currently, I am member of ARGET (Applied Research Group in Education and Technology) at the Faculty of Science of Psychology and Education (University Rovira and Virgili).
