Blinding Data: exploring data epistemologies in school

My research interests lie in the impact of datafication in the secondary school setting. I am keen to explore pupils as "data constructions" and what this means for education. The work raises philosophical and ethical questions concerning teaching and learning as they are thrown into relief by the computational processes of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I am using a postqualitative approach to the research for its creative potential and its conviction that ethics are immanent to any intervention.
