Dr Noreen Dunnett is an online tutor on the MSc in Digital Education programme, working on the 'Introduction to Digital Environments for Learning' and 'Digital Games, Play and the Psychology of Learning' modules. She holds a PhD in Digital Education (Feb 2021) and is also a graduate from the Digital Education MSc Programme (2012).
Her research interests focus on boredom, disengagement and sociomaterial practices in schools and digital games and how affective environments for learning are created. Current projects include a planned book chapter on teaching post-COVID and a research monograph based on her thesis with the working title: Reimagining Boredom in Classrooms through Digital Game Spaces: Sociomaterial Perspectives
