Working Title: Technology Appropriation in Peace Pedagogy
Alli Spring is a PhD candidate in Science, Technology & Innovation Studies whose research focuses on the ways in which educators use technology in peace pedagogy, specifically in post-war transition countries Colombia and Sri Lanka. By leveraging an ICT4D research frame, Alli’s work aims to build on the current understanding of sociotechnical changes effected through peace education in public schools and civil society organizations. A former principal and teacher, Alli is thrilled to have the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with the experts in Digital Education during her studies.
