My PhD research examines how educators understand and implement multimodal feedback in higher education, focusing on the gap between its pedagogical potential and real-world practice. I’m particularly interested in how technologies, institutional contexts, and emotions shape feedback processes in digital learning environments. During the 2024–2025 academic year, I completed an MSc in Education Futures at the University of Edinburgh. Looking ahead, I aim to advance more inclusive and relational approaches to digital feedback that recognise its emotional, cultural, and material dimensions. In the long term, I hope to foster sustainable, empathetic, and equitable feedback cultures that support both educators and learners in the evolving landscape of higher education.
