Entanglements is an events series taking places across the UK, experimenting with form and offering insight into artistic processes and new collaborations. Each event involves local artists and audiences, whose own art and ideas will be entangled with the work of the presenters. Entanglements combines existing artworks and publications with open dialogue and creative responses, creating something new in the moment of presentation and opening a space for reflection on art, ecology and collaboration.
Dr David Overend, Lecturer in Interdisciplinary Studies, is part of the team organising the 'Entanglements' event series. On Thursday 22nd June, Entanglements will form part of the Present Futures Festival taking place at the Centre for Contemporary Arts (Glasgow). Details and sign up below.
Entanglements has been designed around the presentation of two recently published books: Entanglements of Two: A Series of Duets (Intellect), edited by Mary Paterson and Karen Christopher, and Performance in the Field: Interdisciplinary practice-as-research (Palgrave Macmillan), by David Overend.
