Professor Andrew Manches

We take a broad view of industry engagement that includes both public service delivery and policy advocacy along with the work of third sector organisations and private companies in a range of sectors.  The benefits of researcher-industry collaboration can include service and policy improvement, developing skills and the development of new products. 

Andrew Manches presented on the subject of 'Hands-on Technology' at Improving Numeracy in Scotland on 26th April 2018.  The event was organised by Holyrood events.

Children and Technology have received a large grant to explore how sensing and interaction technologies can be used to help pre-school children think, learn and communicate about science and technology.

Move2Learn is funded by Wellcome and led in the UK by Andrew Manches in partnership with UCL and the Glasgow Science Centre.
