A range of activities are taking place in the final months of the AHRC-funded Artcasting project, which comes to an end on 30 June.
Those in the Co Durham area can try the Artcasting app in the ARTIST ROOMS: Robert Mapplethorpe exhibition at the Bowes Museum until the 24th of April.
In the coming weeks, the project team (including Jen Ross, Jeremy Knox and Claire Sowton from Digital Education) will be sharing and presenting findings at conferences, workshops with selected galleries, and at an open event at the University of Edinburgh on Wednesday 25 May: Cultural Heritage, Digital Engagement and Visitor Experience. The event is jointly hosted with ARTIST ROOMS and the National Galleries of Scotland, and is free to attend. Along with a session about Artcasting, Claire Bailey-Ross from Durham University will be talking about radical trust and digital visitor engagement, and Silvia Filippini-Fantoni will be joining us by live link to discuss digital engagement and interpretation at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
