The Data Education in Schools programme is working with cross-sector partners and the wider DDI Skills Gateway to bridge future workforce needs in data skills.
Current and ongoing initiatives include:
- Mitigating and supporting school technology infrastructure needs via the creation of a technology lending library
- Partnerships with the DDI funded IoT in Schools programme to support the development of sensor-related learning resources
- Working with Skills Development Scotland to support industry professionals to work in schools and bring real-world business relevant skills and capabilities to the classroom
