The theme of the meeting was ‘MOOC Futures’: where are MOOCs are headed, now that the frenzy surrounding their initial emergence has died down, and what might this mean for our academic network and future research agendas?
The morning theme addresses how MOOCs may be evolving within institutions, and how they are seen to be contributing to universities’ future planning. The afternoon turned to what kinds of research questions we could be addressing with MOOCs, and what methodologies, perspectives and approaches we might be using as MOOCs research matures.
