Dr Murray Craig has won the 2020 Estelle Brisard award for the best research paper written by an early career researcher (based in Scotland) at this year's Scottish Educational Research Association conference.

The Estelle Brisard Memorial award was created in 2007, in recognition of Estelle Brisard’s significant and outstanding contribution to educational research in Scotland. Estelle was a doctoral student at the University of Stirling and worked as a Research Fellow and a Lecturer at the University of Paisley. Her field of expertise was teacher education.

Dr Craig graduated in 2019 with an EdD focusing on use of digital technologies in physical education.  Murray was co-supervised by Dr Jen Ross from the Centre for Research in Digital Education and Dr Christine Nash from the Institute for Sport, Physical Education and Health Sciences.
