Last month, Centre colleague James Lamb, Lecturer in Digital Education (Education Futures), attended the annual conference of The Society for Experimental Biology in Antwerp, Belgium.
James talked about some of his work on hybrid teaching and postdigital learning spaces, building around:
- an article on conceiving the future classroom (Conceiving the Future Classroom Through Learning Futures, Postdigital and Learning Spaces Research | Postdigital Science and Education)
- a chapter co-authored with Lucila Carvalho on postdigital spaces for learning (Materialities, Temporalities, and Mobilities: Exploring the Postdigital Through Our Writing Spaces | SpringerLink), in Postdigital Learning Spaces: Towards Convivial, Equitable and Sustainable Spaces for Learning, a book edited by James and Lucila and published by Springer.
- an article co-authored with Tim Fawns, Joe Noteboom, and Jen Ross on looking at choreography and improvisation to understand the interactions between human and material elements in hybrid learning (Choreography and improvisation in hybrid teaching)
