James Lamb, Michael Gallagher and Jeremy Knox along with Lucila Carvalho (Massey University) have edited a special issue of Postdigital Science and Education. The journal issue (Volume 4, Issue 1) explores the complex and changing nature of learning spaces in higher education.
'When students and teachers gather for a class, they are present in multiple spaces where the digital, material, biological and social are intrinsically connected and co-determining (Jandrić et al. 2018; Carvalho et al. 2016). Digital technologies shape, and are shaped by, learning spaces and practices.'
James Lamb brought together authors from the special issue at the 'Postdigital learning spaces of higher education - a special online conversation' event held on 24th February 2022. The event was recorded and details will be shared via Twitter @eddiged and in our March newsletter.
