The Data Education in Schools team are happy to announce the launch of the Teach AI Literacy Handbook for teachers.
This handbook is aimed at upper primary and secondary teachers in Scotland who want to teach their classes about how AI works and how to use AI responsibly to support their learning. The handbook contains an AI curriculum framework relating to Curriculum for Excellence outcomes.
Developed by Judy Robertson with the help of over 25 contributors and support from the Scottish Government, Education Scotland and the SQA, the handbook is only one of a series of resources on Teaching Responsible AI Literacy in Schools (TRAILS): TRAILS Resources - Data Education in Schools.
