We welcome studentship applications to the UKRI AI Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Responsible and Trustworthy in-the-world Natural Language Processing. These are fully-funded PhD studentships starting in September 2026. The doctoral training centre is hosted by the Edinburgh Futures Institute and supervisory teams will be interdisciplinary.
The deadline for applications is midnight (GMT) on the 7th January 2026.
Centre colleagues Professor Sian Bayne, Dr Ben Williamson, Dr Cara Wilson, Prof Jen Ross, and Prof Judy Robertson are supervisors on this scheme from within the Centre and are looking forward to receiving applications.
