Digital Education Summer internships
We have two public engagement internships (paid) available for Summer 2021.
Our interns will help conceptualise, build, publicise, run and research a highly engaging online public event which will take place over summer 2021. They will work alongside an external learning event design agency and a supportive academic team as they contribute to the design, organisation and operation of an event focused on the public understanding of ‘data’ provisionally titled ‘Code your own data selfie’. The event will incorporate art, data visualisation and coding in an accessible way designed to appeal to the broad public and will provide our interns with experience in event design and management, learning design, online communications, research and public engagement. The post holders will work closely to support the development and delivery of a single online live session to be held in June/July.
Employ.ed on Campus internships are ONLY open to 2nd year to penultimate year undergraduate students from the University of Edinburgh based in the UK.
