On 3rd October Ana Hibert of the Centre for Research in Digital Education led a 24-hour hackathon at the University of Edinburgh to explore new approaches to some of the challenges faced in digital education today. The University of Edinburgh event was joined by more than 1700 participants in 21 separate countries solving 60 challenges in 24 hours as part of DigiEduHack.

The University of Edinburgh entry ‘Inter-portal:Connecting research interest in a community’ is now a finalist in a public vote which could see them win €5000 and the title of UN Digital Education Ambassadors.

'Inter-portal' is an opt-in web portal that will help Early Career Researchers in University of Edinburgh to make connections with peers with similar research interests.

You can support them by VOTING for their entry via this link
