On Friday 1 December, the first cohort of students graduated from the MSc in Education Futures, which is offered through the Edinburgh Futures Institute. The programme is led by Dr Jen Ross and Dr Seongsook Choi, and previously Jen working with Dr James Lamb. Several staff situated within, or associated with, the Centre for Research in Digital Education teach on the programme, including Professor Andrew Manches, Dr Huw Davies and Professor Velda McCune. In common with nearly all the programmes within EFI, the MSc in Education Futures is delivered in fusion mode, with students choosing to attend on campus or online, but as part of the same cohort. Of the first cohort, six students participated in the graduation ceremony in the University’s McEwan Hall last Friday, before making the short walk to the recently opened Edinburgh Futures Institute building where they celebrated their achievements at a reception with family, friends and staff.
