Dr Giovanna Pasquariello

Impact and Engagement Administrator

I handle communications and support impact evaluation of the Centre for Research in Digital Education and the Data Education in Schools project. Motivated by a strong interest in community engagement and outreach opportunities, I collaborated with the Scottish charity Open Past on a project putting History and Archaeology learning materials in the hands of the schools. I have a PhD in Classics. During my doctorate, I completed a workshop on "AI and Ancient Writing Cultures" at the University of Bologna and a course on Social Network Analysis for Ancient History research. In 2023, I was Project Coordinator in Ancient History at the Edinburgh Sutton Trust Summer School, an event aimed at facilitating access to Higher Education for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
