Senior Lecturer in Futures
Ivana is a leading thinker in futures studies, with a background in sociology, gender studies, peace studies, and education. As Director of the Metafuture think tank, she has facilitated futures-oriented work with a wide range of organisations. She was also an Adjunct Professor at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Australia and a Visiting Professor at Tamkang University in Taiwan and the University of Novi Sad in Serbia.
Her research focuses on the exploration of how societies, communities, and individuals envision alternative futures and create preferred futures; educational futures and transformative pedagogies; educational practices that promote peace and social justice; and the role of gender dynamics in societal change and development.
