Centre colleagues co-designed a set of guiding principles which articulate the strong threads running through our various research themes and inform our future research agenda.
Click on the principles below to learn more and explore examples of our work.
PRINCIPLE 1. We work toward a digital education future that has a transformative positive impact on access, participation and social mobility.
PRINCIPLE 2. We work toward a digital education future that is interdisciplinary, speculative and critical, imagining new possibilities and understanding the value of productive disarray.
PRINCIPLE 3. We work toward a digital education future that values and protects the place of teaching.
PRINCIPLE 4. We work toward a digital education future that is collaborative and critically hopeful.
PRINCIPLE 5. We work toward a digital education future that is care-ful and full of care.
PRINCIPLE 6. We create a space for questioning the assumptions driving education technology development and co-creating alternatives.
The principles have been first announced with our 2024 Centre Report: download the report.
