Teaching for Digital Citizenship: Digital ethics in the classroom and beyond it

This project will co-design and evaluate new resources to address young people’s needs in facing a digitally connected world. We will combine the expertise of philosophers of digital education and values education, ethnographers and digital citizen science experts, to deploy novel techniques bringing industry, practitioner and policy stakeholders together. Project partners will co-identify priorities, involve education professionals in ethnographic hypothesis generation, and use digitally-enabled participatory action research to design, pilot and disseminate pedagogies and technologies that both enable young people to exercise agency and embed values-led pedagogy across the curriculum.
