In summer 2021, members of the Centre for Research in Digital Education, Dr James Lamb and Dr Claire Sowton, worked with Craig Steele (Digital Skills Education) and two University of Edinburgh interns (Callum Groeger and Isabel Duffy) to develop an event and web-based activity exploring the ways that sound shapes our learning spaces.

We are delighted to make the activities available so that you can explore the sounds of your own learning spaces outside of the initial event. The event, which took place on 10th August 2021, is also available to view via YouTube.

We hope the activities will appeal to a broad range of educators and learners interested in how sound enacts, challenges or characterises their learning spaces. We welcome comments and reflections on the activities by email to DEResearch@ed.ac.uk
