Professor Judy Robertson and Jenni Doonan have been awarded £9100 through an Economic and Social Research Council Impact Acceleration Award to consult with teachers and young learners about their views on the future of the computing-related subjects in Scotland.

Teacher and learner views will be sought through a series of online consultation sessions, the output of which will be shared with policy makers in Scottish Government.

The project will bring together the Scottish Computing Education Committee, which is part of the British Computer Society Academy, and the Data Education in Schools project to support the dissemination of project findings.
