We’re delighted to be welcoming Dr Araba Sey to the Centre for a two-week research visit in January 2026. Dr Sey’s visit is funded by the Edinburgh Futures Institute, and will involve her in research meetings, presenting a public seminar on 22 January, working with students on the MSc Digital Education, and developing her own research on technological visions for development in sub-Saharan Africa.
To learn more about Araba and her work, check out this recording of the Edinburgh Futures Institute panel discussion on the "Future of Education: AI" from November 2024: https://efi.ed.ac.uk/event/the-future-of-education-ai/.
