Dr Ivana Milojevic and colleagues from the Journal of Futures Studies are happy to launch the “Hesitant Feminist's Guide to the Future” Symposium (edited by Anisah Abdullah and Lavonne Leong).
This launch event, which will be held on the 8th March 2025 in celebration of the International Women’s Day, is free and open to all.

The Symposium takes inspiration from Ivana’s book “The Hesitant Feminist’s Guide to The Future” (Tamkang University Press, 2024), which addresses critical questions in futures studies and gender studies, with a focus on feminist futures. The monograph provides historical context to contemporary debates and discusses how to facilitate positive social change toward gender-equitable futures.
21 manuscripts, engaging with various aspects of feminist futures, have been selected for presentation at the Symposium, and will be published in the Journal of Futures Studies.
